trusting in him

Trusting in him

Sometimes, times can be tough. Whether it has to due with school, friends, family, or even money. There are times in life where things just don’t go your way. Through those tough times, it’s hard to trust in God. Sometimes you just want to run away from all your problems. But that is not the right way to deal with your issues. When you are going through those tough times, you should always trust that God will help you. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways submit to him and he will make your paths straight.” This is saying that if you trust in him, he will help you out. He will make your paths straight. I have had times where I have not trusted God and things just got worse. I have also had times where I have trusted God and things did get better. In those times that I have trusted God, it was hard to trust in him. But when I did decide to trust in him, things got a whole lot better. It’s just like trusting your friend when you tell them a secret to not tell anybody else. Are you gonna trust them or not? You always have those certain friends that you trust and know they will not tell anybody else when you do not want them to. So just like you trust those certain friends, trust in God. Trusting in him can be tough, but it will eventually pay off. 1 John 5:14 says, “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. We have to have confidence when talking to God that he will hear and help us through the difficult times.
